Hope to see you soon.

I hope to get to the sixth bit some day.

As the usher who uttered the phrase "The fox is in the chicken coop", I fear I must correct you on one small point. I said it not when you came out for the ceremony, but rather I said it when Diane -- who we'd all been waiting for, as is (I suppose) appropriate -- arrived in the limo. So, as should be obvious by now, it was Diane who was the fox, and it was you, David, who was the chicken.

The strange thing was, right after I said it over the radio, another of the ushers (he knows who he is) responded with, "What the hell are you talking about?!?" Apparently the shared situation along with the limo arrival was insufficient context for him to appreciate whatever humor was inherent in the comment, or indeed to interpret it at all.

Anyway, congratulations to your fifth bit of marriage.

I remember that day, too. Mainly I remember being stuck somewhere in Connecticut due to to automotive mechanical failure and arriving in New Haven way, way late. But I suppose it's never too late to say mazel tov.
